The process and service were very quick, clear, and efficient. The woman who assisted me was very friendly. The process took no more than 30 minutes, and that was only because of a thorough inspection of the vehicle.
The return process was also very quick and transparent; it took no more than 15 minutes.
They picked me up at the airport upon arrival and drove me to the rental car upon return.
Everything was excellent. Highly recommended. It has been the best car rental service I've had in recent years.

Don’t get sucked in by the big names advertised low prices. They will jack up the prices as soon as you get to Mexico.

I rented from Gecko Rent A Car again based on my previous excellent experience, and they again went above my expectations. The booking process was seamless and the all-inclusive pricing including insurance makes this a no-hassle, 100% confidence, straightforward booking.
Communication was excellent. My flight was delayed by almost 2 hours, which would have had me land past their closing time. They reached out to me and offered to park the car in the airport parking lot, or to reschedule my reservation. I requested for parking lot pickup and the process was easy and I was on my way soon after landing.
I also got a flat tire during my trip, and their emergency number support was top notch. Jose arrived quickly, changed my spare and took me to a tire repair shop nearby. The car was clean, reliable and in great condition.
I highly recommend them again for anyone traveling to the area. I sure will next time I visit Puerto Vallarta!

This is great, a flat rate per the number of days you need the car for, all listed on the website. They also have carseats and boosters, which was $10 each for the entire rental period for us (around 6 days). Insurance is included, and they can take you to the gas station on the return to fill up before dropping you off. Definitely a good things given the scams you hear about at gas stations in Mexico. Check-in and checkout were both super easy and they even give you a little quick session on the difference in driving culture in Mexico vs US and some areas to watch out for. Would definitely use them again!
